Synthesis and Characterization of nanomaterials, particularly oxides and mixed oxide materials (e.g., TiO2-SiO2, ZnO-SiO2, CoTiO3) and doped metal oxides and carbonaceous materials (e.g., Ag-ZnO, TiO2-GO) for Environmental Remediation applications, including adsorption, photo catalytic and electrochemical degradation (reaction kinetics and product evaluation) of aquatic pollutants (e.g., phenols and phenolic compounds, dyes, etc.), antimicrobial applications, and solar energy conversion to fuel.

Fabrication of Organic-Inorganic hybrid Perovskite materials for solar cell application.

Natural Products chemistry: especially, Extraction of natural dyes for sensitization of the semiconductor materials for solar cell and hydrogen production applications, extraction and purification of active species/drugs from the Medicinal Plants and its phytochemical studies.

Analytical Chemistry involving Liquid chromatography, Liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry analysis of the degraded organic dyes, phenolic compounds, etc.
