Students within the Department of Chemistry carry out a range of outreach activities with local schools and the community in the Northern Province.

C. E (O/L) students annually, which are categorized as more difficult area schools found in different zones. We do hope these interactive practical sessions, and guidance will help the ordinary level students of the above schools to become knowledgeable in science practical referenced in their guidebook for their forthcoming G.C.E (O/L) exams. Students from Level 1G, 2G and 4M participated in this project. The Collected waste was segregated into Plastic, Rubber, Glass, Metal and Non-Recycleables.
